Boredom's good if it produces stuff like this.

 

Fella from BC owns one of the W900A's. I'll see if I can dig up the article on it as it was featured in Pro-Trucker magazine as Rig of the Month a couple years back. Had the chance to speak with the owner's father at one of the Big Rig Weekend shows a while back. Really cool, old school hand.

 

This as a Canadian version A model. Setup with cold air breathers and spread axles originally....

Yeah, bout that 'pincal'. Since when does a lead 'pincal' write in red ? .....happy b-day. Still above ground level for another year !

 

@Brettj3876 only paperwork he has on a rebuild is a maintenance log,no actual receipts. This leak is too thin to be oil, but didn’t smell like fuel. The driver side steer is eating the outside shoulder and nearly new tire on the other. It looks to recent exhaust manifold gaskets,but it needs a elbow. Didn’t have time to take it for a spin.

 

Yeah....maybe! Just scared the bejezes out of my oldest son. Told him "this will be my last Christmas......long pause.....this year!" fathers can be tools sometimes!

Going to be going to work for/with him after the first of the year. Hauling cars (2 car trailer, maybe 3)....he's been doing that for almost 1 year on his own and wants to add on 3 more rigs...work driving 3 days and bookkeeping/payroll Fridays. So tomorrow get to go down and get my "green card".....for you youngsters that is what we used to call them...medical card renewed. Decided to keep my CDL...this year anyway.
