Dont know about being fired for doing a U turn, but its not a good thing to do.Even Roehl frowns on U turns.everyone gets bad directions once in a while and sometimes the easiest way out is to do a U turn.but for safetys sake please make this your last option..Better to go a couple miles to find a safe turn around than to do a U turn and cause an accident.

This company posted an ad. great home time. 1,000.00 plus a week. dedicated runs in your are. The recruiter tells you one story. The oreintation guy. says oh thats wrong. then he lies to you. 3 days later your hired and then they tell you a new story. If you like lies drive for national freight. I recently was fired because I refused to go to freightliner and spend my money on an airline and not get paid to drive to and from dealer for repair. I know most dumd drivers do this for free. I refused and was fired. They never reimburse me for fuel, windshield washer fluid, light bulb, and power steering fluid. well national freight your credit done run dry. so on top of being fired. they refused to let me bobtail the truck back to a terminal and sent a tow truck. stole my last 2 checks and charged me 500.oo for a tow to lawnside ,nj. the truck was driving 20 mins away where it was repaired and giving to a new guy in my area. fraud, can you say fraud. i payed for a tow to new jersey that never took place. then my buddy calls me yup its for sure now. the guy was hooking to a trailer at the drop yard in shrewbury ,mass. with a new airline that i paid for. so, i'll probably get an abandonement charge on my dac. this whole industry is screwed and its the dumb drivers fault for it, why dont you all stand together and fight back. you'll sit for hours waiting to be unloaded and loaded for free but some lumber will be paid 100-300 dollars to unload it? whats up with that. make them pay 15 an hour to load and unload. maybe you'll be moving more. with the 14 started you can't afford to sit for free. times are changing. instead of acting stupid on the cb why dont you try to talk and change the industry. united we stand . united they fall.. this is not slander its 100% true and i'll see you ******* in court.

We have spies (other CS drivers) who will turn you in!! U-turns in AZ are LEGAL unless otherwise posted. I do SAFE u-turns, and I agree if you are an 'idiot driver,' you can be UNSAFE!!

You obviously don't drive the L.A. area (or Oakland, et al). You can't go 'around the block' there and be back where you started!! In L.A. if you do that, you will end up in a dark alley and get mugged!!

Some people are just moraless predators. Any pick pocket knows that if they get caught with their hand in someone elses' pocket they will probably get the daylights beat out of them. (assuming there is any daylight at all left in their kind) And, many theif have probably been beaten to a pulp when they've been caught. Yet, they are brazen enough to continue doing what they do anyway. These kind of people rarely ever stop.

I believe some people are just compulsive theives and crooks, without any remorse or guilt. They wouldn't stop, no matter what danger they face, no matter what possible harm, or punishment may potentially await them ...reputation, or otherwise. As long as there are prey, there will be predators that will never stop preying on them. In the animal kingdon, a predator never disappears.... until all the prey are gone, or they learn how to evade the predator.

Whether or not some of the businessmen behind these freight hauler companies that we dislike, have actually broken any laws (other than civil ones) remains to be seen. Until they are caught breaking some crininal laws, then breaking a CIVIL LAW will usually only cost them a fine. And, that will be a small percentage of the money that they came by illegally. Even that money.....will not come from their pockets... but, from the pockets of their victims/prey.

Exposure of wrongdoing is, of course, the first requisite in achieving justice

Could you possibly provide some information on what part of the tax code provides a tax break to a company that has depreciable assets like trucks sitting around? I spent quite a bit of time poking around in the tax codes looking for the info and couldn't find anything that seemed to cover that area. I even looked into the reporting sections, to find out how the companies are supposedto report to the IRS the number of trucks they have sitting at any given time, and could find nothing covering that. Is it reported on a monthly or quarterly basis? Do the same rules apply to trucks that they own as well as trucks that they lease?

I'm really kind of stumped here and would like some assistance on this issue. Thanks....
