I remember the day of 99 cent fuel and 2.00$ a mile freight out of the mills in Gary but like many things they come to a crashing halt.(who do you blame?) Well 10 years past and no money,a tired old Cummings big cam(1million plus) an 83 freightliner I reenlisted in the Army and being a prior Marine this was probably the hardest thing I ever did. Well long story short I now have 10 years as an line infantry SGT and as a steel hauler. Sitting up in Alaska just finishing my 4th deployment I figured it would be safer on the American roads so watch out I buying a truck and a flatbed and heading out again. Any advice would help this old war hound out. sgt T Alwin 1-24 Infantry Ft,Wainwright AK.

Hello I-24 and Welcome to the Site

Thank You for Your Many Years of Dedicated Service to Our Country!!!
Best of Luck to You and your Success -
Welcome back, but right now I would be leery buying a truck. This is the worst I have ever seen flat freight. Another issue might be insurance for someone who has been off the road that long. Good luck and thanks for your service..
