We have a customer who’s turbo blew out about 130 miles away. Do you normally get charged hourly plus mileage or just normal hourly? If mileage then what’s normal price per mile to charge? (Mississippi / Tennessee) thanks to everyone with all the helpful comments on my last post.

Every roadside I've ever used is the same as every other service I've ever used. They charge hourly from the minute they leave the office until they get back.
From roadside repairs to furnace maintenance it's all the same.baha and ettaterrell Thank this. -
Is your customer on 55 or 22?

Some charge hourly, plus mileage, plus a service call.
I don’t know if they still do but petro charged $2 something a mile if they had to go get parts.Final Drive and ettaterrell Thank this. -
Its best just to tell them to have it towed to 1st EX. where you are not working on side of road(if that's where it still is) and tell them its an hourly job just in case bolts break, studs strip oil lines are trashed?
ettaterrell Thanks this. -
Hourly plus miles, and the hourly rate is higher for on the road, more higher for evenings, and extra more higher for weekends.
D.Tibbitt, ettaterrell and ZVar Thank this. -
