TA and Amazon

    Been noticing more and more TA truckstops that have parking spots blocked off for Amazon trailers only.

    Of course they aren't in "reserved" spots...

    Those reserved spots are for you guys... :biggrin_2559:

    Any other locations that you'll have noticed?

    You can bet they are paying TA for the privilege though. Likely not as much as the reserved spots sure, but enough to make TA happy someone is giving them money.

    I havent noticed at the truckstops. Dont see any out west. But i did notice the race track parking lot in vegas down the street from that amazon warehouse was filled to the brim with amazon trailers . Couldnt believe there could be so many trailers in one place .

    The one in London, Ohio has problems with trailers being dropped already. So I hope the Amazon drivers don't try anything funny!

    Kind of nice for TA to put all those portajohns out in the lot. BYOTP, but still, at least they care about their customers.

    A company was doing that kinda crap up here in WI back in the late 90’s. We complained to the ts but they just looked the other way.
    Soooooo.....
    We took those sport drink bottles, the kind with the squeeze top, filled with water and from dec till April squeezed water into the red glad hand hose. Froze solid in about 2-3 hrs. Probably cost em about $10k in wrecker bills to thaw em out.
    They moved the trailers and never came back
