had to go to Amazon in San Bernardino ca for an mt so I could go get this load for the next trip to beaver ut on Tuesday.

I would have head to Barstow ca for my day off but in the app stage of getting an apartment.
she said I should know tomorrow or Tuesday if I get it.

My truck is way overdue for a b service and the engine has derated. Any hill slows me way down, but I can still get it to 65. It does take a while, though.

When I checked about a b service at Menasha I was told it was booked solid through the 21st. Too many terminals are the same way.
But I lucked out.
My current load gets me within 20 miles of New Boston, MI and I was able to get an appointment for Friday at 0900, just after my delivery to the Sam's DC.

 

Nearly 600 miles with a derated engine with 43k in the box.
That was fun.

Got the truck in the shop this morning at New Boston, but it still isn't finished.
Something to do with the check engine light but I wasn't told the problem. Hopefully it will be done tomorrow.
At least I can sleep in it tonight. I hope they are waiting on a part so they won't be pounding on my door at 0500.

due to heavy snow on i70... they decided we were gonna meet in Lupton az.
so came here for the nite.
easy day tomorrow. then tcalling the load he is bringing me on Sunday at jurula terminal.

 

Well, no door pounding Saturday morning, or Sunday all day.
Still sitting here.

made it to.luptom az by 1300 saturday. was a windy day .but was lucky it was pushing me.
couple of hours later a snow squall and heavier winds came thru
other driver made it there by 1900 luckily
so I ended up staying there for the nite and left at 0730 this mornimg
was very cold and wanted the sun up to help thaw out the ice

made it here aroumd 1700.
off tomorrow

 

other driver didn't make it to Denver yesterday.
was still 300.miles from thete when I talked to.my driver leader.
driver texted me saying he gonna miss the 1st trip.
so I am doing a local live unload then.maybe a Las Vegas run.
seems I am the only driver on this shift that made it to their respective terminal
