Well we definitely have 'global citizens' coming here to displace us, but I still can't work elsewhere, so I'm a trapped Global citizen? If they gonna bring foreigners in then we should be able to pick where we want to work in the world as well. Or is my logic flawed. Or maybe the global citizen farce is only intended to support business. Forget the workers, we're just disposable, right. I can't believe it's gotten this bad. Canada used to be a great nation.

Unfortunately I think the only way out of this is to break up the Canadian Union. So that each province can become sovereign and get back its national roots and laws again. The feds will keep socialising us until we're China. Heck, BC is even mostly owned by China already anyway. Anti-national corruption.

3 years left, then we pick our retirement spot. Have a friend retired early to the Dominican. Loves it, or Portugal? Apparently if you take all your investments there, anything you make is tax free if your retired. No taxes sounds great..

Well it happened, IHaul is putting cameras in their leases on O/Os trucks and making them pay for it. Personally can’t believe it, but I guess they’re getting big now, might as well do the big company shuffle!

    All hail I H&R, I Bison, I TransX

NO Way!!!! Like how can they get a way with that? Is it because you are under their insurance?

Hail the iHaul the new tyrannical kid on the block ... sad really!

Yep, glad I’m a contractor. TransX is getting them also, seen a few at meat inspection, with them mounted to the windshield. Bison and all the rest won’t be far behind.

I urge all drivers who still give a ####, to please hang up your keys and resist this! I am out on the sidelines already as I refuse to be complacent and complicit. I cannot in good moral standing and judgment accept further abuse by the slave-masters. More of you need to unplug from the machine until it short circuits and reboots! Union, or no union. If we don't form a resistance, it will be an end to us all.

Yah it is crazy how many on jumping on this crazy boat of cameras. The last time I checked one was innocent until proven guilty. But I guess if some truckers are idiots then we all are.

Good thing you can call your own shots and take your truck elsewhere ...

I am glad the folks I am contact with do not use cameras and they will never use them. We had a chat about it once and they said to me, if we have to put cameras in our trucks, we are bad business owners that don't know how to hire an train - good point!

    Cheers

Sounds like a good company dude!

Again, as a contractor, my own numbers and such, I just pull their loads, submit my invoice and that’s pretty much it. Not subject to their Cameras, Safety, Dispatch, Payroll or “Family Atmosphere”. So gonna stick to pulling IHaul trailers for now, since they pay the best and have good fuel discounts/equipment.

I actually haven’t done a Bison, TransX or SLH in almost a year. I should prob do a couple, before the CRA calls me an IHaul employee or some ####.
