    MX main bearing tolerances are so tight the unofficial replacement procedure is to chill them in dry ice so they shrink enough to roll them in. By the book says to pull the engine and remove the crank.
    Im not sure how cold it is, never measured it, but when you put oil on the bearings it instantly turns to gel and stops flowing.

    Colder than I care to be.......

    No, cool for stress relief. Assemble at room temp for proper clearance and wear measurements!

    Cat c15 Acert , cam bracket broke off from head and broke thru valve cover and jake brakes and studs were blown off, probably overrev/high rpm, and lack of maintenance

    20201215_082703.jpg Trailing Arm Nut..I look at them every day but haven't noticed any shiny spot ...The bushings were replaced 2 or 3 months ago ...

    Its allready off the truck and it dont rattle either.
