Most days the eld isn’t so bad. But there’s just some days I wish it would die so I could do things my way.

That company started with a 557. Bunch of ex engineers from mercury. I met a few of em in florida 8 years ago. They were testing a 33' with 3(!) Of those killer eggbeaters hanging off the back. I spent 7 years working nights at a local marine shop. Love it.
Company was originally called 557 marine, i bieleve volvo bought em out.

Truck bodies; they cut those 1 inch straps, they’re not ratchet straps and I didn’t care to undo them so I just took out my sword and made quick work of all 8+ of them rofl I thought I was a big baller, “Yeah, we normally just cut those”

    Seems legit.

You can cut up old straps for edge protectors too. I keep several wound up under the bunk for just that purpose.

People laugh when i go digging into the trash can but when i come out with a big ### piece of cardboard to protect my tarp/straps , i am the one laughing now !:D kinda like how usefull i found these super socks to be as edge protection as well. Anything works. Sometimes u got to throw the whole kitchen sink at it. IMG_20201207_1620483.jpg

I was actually having a great idea. I have a bunch of old tore up straps ... i was thinking about cutting them up in like 3 ft pieces , putting 2 together and sewing the edges together to make a sliding protector for when ur chains are crossing eachother or if its touching painted freight.. Thoughts?
