Interesting about-face you made there, from 'I'm interviewing for a job' to 'I’m done giving truckers respect on the road it’s back to cutting you off and flipping the bird #### trucks' after you didn't get the job. Little dramatic, no?

FYI, a 9 speed is basically a 13 speed or 18 speed, without the splitting.....exact same shift pattern.

Regardless, good luck in whatever you do from here.

Well you can't flip your bird at me man cause I'm already out, been out for a while, it's crazy to even consider OTR trucking today. Anyone out there doing it must be super desperate!

    I recommend prostitution, you still get [f u c k e d] but it's much better money!
Plenty of horrible employers out there man, don't beat yourself up. There is severe quality employer deficit out there. I've driven trucks that should have been recycled years ago. The whole industry is deplorable mess. I recommend prostitution, you still get [f u c k e d] but the money is much better!

OTR is a bottom barrel segment this side of the border anyways.

Good luck with that . Half these guys drive with tunnel vision . You’ll become road splatter or jailed is my guess.

Thankfully one less tard on the road. If you can't drive an old worn out POS that each gear is so loose it practically falls in on it's own, go away.

They toss drivers into dump units and observe/test for patience and self-control behind the wheel. It's a psych test.

That is true. My first OTR job back in 2004 they did that to me ... did a road test with a f##### clutch and wanted to see how I handled myself under pressure. I stayed calm and cool ... did my best. The cool thing is we ended up driving for an hour around and about and the guy testing me actually showed me how to float my first gears - as the clutch was nasty! =)

    Cheers
