Blue Parrot is an industry leader and for good reason. I have a BT350 that is approaching 5 years old that still works perfectly.
I would avoid cheaper headsets that don't have noise canceling microphones.firemedic2816, OldeSkool and LtlAnonymous Thank this. -
I bought a road king headset this Summer and it works great. The only issue I have had with it is syncing with my phone but I believe that is a Bluetooth issue. It has only happened a few times. I have heard that can happen with Blue Parrot also.

I no longer drive. Heck, I can't even do the George Jones thing today. Epilepsy (actually why I had to leave driving) I have a particularly nasty form of Epilepsy called ADPEAF and to fight it I almost always have music playing through mine. I can also take phone calls. As @Redtwin said, get a good pair with noise-canceling mikes.
I use these, I am in my 3rd year, still get the full 6 hours of battery life.

I have a Blue Parrot, not sure what model number but I bought it in 2007. Still works good.

I got these because there are two earpieces for when I want to listen to music. Very nice sound, excellent microphone.
