You ever seen any of those videos where there’s a hot chick, and then it turns around and it’s a dude?

    That video reminds of that.

I think all those mega companies are about the same when you are comparing quality, the real issue is the warranty. HD doesn't honor any warranties, they direct you to the manufacturer. Then you end up sending the unit out to be repaired, and you have no way of knowing what, if anything, they did...plus your item is gone for a month or more. Milwaukie is the same...the entry level tools are poor in quality, but if you are willing to pay the enormous price and get the "professional grade"...then you enter a different world all around. So we decided to save almost 65%, and waited for the holiday sales on Rigid and Dewalt, Milw barely moved in price, even for the holiday sale push.

    Well...####.

So my driver side headlight (the one thats really bright) is only on the low beam. The right side is way more dim and power is somehow bleeding through to the high beam. When I kick the high beams on, both highs come on, the driver side stays bright, the right side stays very dim.

Anyone have an idea before I post up in the Peterbilt forum?

Edit: Yes, my bumper is a crooked pos. It'll be reolaced real soon.

I would check the wiring in the headlight bucket. Usually the buckets corrode and the grounds don't ground well.

The way your connector you replaced was fried tells me your power wire had a major draw on the power wire.....you should have pop out circuit breakers in your fuse box for your lights. They are the little white button looking things on the bottom of the fuse block. Typically these will pop out if you have a short outside the cab. Check to make sure they haven't popped....they are separate for each side.

Usually the shorts are in the wiring behind the bumper or a rubbed wire in the cans.
