looks like they will be able to work most of it from the inside if not all of it, not sure how much is the way like cabinets etc but i think it would still be easier doing it that way instead of tack welding and slide hammer, fillers, sanding, paint etc. And yes we have filed claims for same situation and rated will go up typically if you exceed 30% of yearly premium, so if your rates low something like that will def cause increase for a while.

Peterbilt does sell replacement panels for sleepers. From what I’ve seen the frame is square aluminum tubing. Might be bent a little. Shouldn’t be a big deal.

How much did yours go up. I pay $1200 a month.th for my insurance. This claim will be around 10k im guessing. $100 a month no big deal. If my insurance goes up to 2k a month that'll be a problemRideandrepair Thanks this.

Yes the quote i got from a body shop with just sending pics was 5k. That was for a new panel and paint.

Talked to my insurance. (Ooida) they said it won't really be that big of a hit on my insurance. I'll loss the never had an incident discount i had and thats about it. So taking the truck to a body shop today.

I had 2 accidents 12 yrs ago. One minor, one major. Ooida didn’t raise my rates at all. They were a little higher already than others. Kept them for a few yrs afterwards. Never did get penalized by higher rates.Wespipes Thanks this.
