Most of the runaways you hear about. Their story is they couldn't stop.
Now. Figure most drivers don't or won't check their brakes. And how often slacks go bad. They don't keep their brakes adjusted.
I don't know about the rest of you all. But I like brakes and do keep them working.
How many times have you seen trailers that won't adjust the tandems. Because the tires won't lock because the brakes are out of adjustment.Coffey, stuckinthemud, 88228822 and 1 other person Thank this. -
If you're in the proper gear the jake should be doing most of the work with the service brakes being used minimally.
