Doubles/triples and tanker is easy to pass. Hazmat can be a little tricky. I read manual book and also used an app called CDL prep on my phone.

I took the practice tests on this site until I could regularly 100% them. Passed all endorsements with no problem.

The tanker and doubles are not difficult. Hazmat is difficult for some. Also check you meet qualifications on TSA hazmat site... they take fingerprints and do background check.Bama Roadrunner Thanks this. -
I just recently (finally) passed the tanker and doubles/triples but had to wait on background for hazmat. After 1 weeks background was cleared and I tried to take the hazmat but they said I have to wait until my new license arrives in mail. The DMV's here now take the picture but don't print out license on site.

I did but never heard back. I just checked my dashboard on their website and it showed I wasn't selected to move further in the process. I think I applied before I got my Hazmat, it took a short while for the background to clear but after using the study guide on here (stumbled on it) I passed it easily. In meanwhile I applied to other companies that I also do training for driver's with little experience so I am leaning toward them although today I see that several Fedex locations are accepting applications for Road Driver.

Hello @rowekmr, Any update on your situation? Did you apply for the Road Driver position at FXF or did you land at FXE?

Good Morning @jmz , Do you know if the FX Driver Development Course is the same course across FXF and FXE? I will be attending the DDC for FXE in early Jan and wondering if that would check the box for Road Driver for FXF as well?

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.
Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, all year round.
