    Could be that the stinger brakes harder at slow speeds because it is single and then the spring brakes hold the pressure on and warp the drum as it cools causing a imbalanced heat next time you heat them in use.

    I dont have spring brakes (parking). Just service brakes that set up with the air valves. Kinda wondering if crack pressure in the valve has something to do with it ?

    Could be crack pressure putting 60 or 80psi on the pots.
    Blocking the emergency line "charged" will stop that from being a question.
