You don't have to like Loves but without them you lose over 400 facilities around the country to park, fuel or get something to eat. You also can hate TA/Petro, Pilot/Flying J or any Mom/Pop but they all serve a purpose. None of them are perfect but all of them are needed and most will be full when it's time to park. Choose your favorite and hope for the best. Most all the old places that were considered great are either gone or sold to a Mega anyway.

Now if you noticed they don't even sell gallons of water anymore. You have to buy the bottles which is even more expensive. I mean how greedy can you get?

Also, many of the Loves employees have really nasty attitudes. I would say 80% of stores have employees with nasty attitudes.

Loves corporate needs to re evaluate their hiring practices they really seem to find bottom of the barrel employees.

the problem in Billings I think Road Ranger are Affiliated with the pilot
And flying j and the showers are the ####ing pits that’s a busy route could do with a decent truckstop .

PFJ sold off Road Ranger a year or two ago; it's it's own entity now.

Far as Billings is concerned, I've never had an issue with parking (interestingly enough, I'm headed there now). Actually, I've never had an issue parking anywhere along I-90 in Montana, being that Town Pump seems to have a spot about every 80 miles or so. (Now the 94 through the rest of Montana is a different story; that stretch could use a new stop or few.)

My vote would be for South Dakota...I know many wouldn't care for it, but right now there's exactly two in the whole state: Box Elder and Sioux Falls. There are a few other decent stopping spots along the 90, but a new one or two wouldn't hurt. Same for the 29 going up toward North Dakota. Shoot, someone have Love's build one somewhere about 20 miles or so on either side of Watertown so the rest of us can keep Stone's to ourselves... :D

Loves is building one north of Grand Forks. It’s at Drayton. The lot is zoned out and they just have start the building of it. It’s not gonna be a big one by any means, but it’ll be there.

I really wish Love's would tear down the existing building in Sioux Falls and build a new one. The parking lot there is in the worst condition of any Love's in the country.

There's plenty of land westward to build on which could include a shop.

With a 150+ space parking lot, new building, a shop, and the existing Blue Beacon already in place, this new Love's would be the premier truck stop of the midwest save for Iowa 80 and Petro in Joplin, Missouri.

Almost every one of the Mega Travel Centers have tried to purchase land and apply to the counties in the central Florida area for building a travel center and either the land is too expensive or the locals have fought them tooth and nail. They do not want anything resembling a truck stop in their communities.
