I have an 09 Volvo with a d13, what should the boost pressure be. I have to put an after market gauge on so I don't know what they normally run. Thanks

I've got '12 D13, according to my gauge under full load it will hit 45 and under normal operating conditions 10 - 12.

keep in mind the more boost the more fuel. you can save a ton if you adjust your driving on the flat and level by keeping that boost down around nothing, obviously Thu won't always be able to keep that turbo from working, but the more you do, the more you save. if you're buying the fuel a buck saved is a buck earned.

I stay easy on the fuel now. I am trying to see if i'm losing boost or have lower than normal boost but I need to put an aftermarket gauge on and was just wondering what psi people are hitting. what kind of mpg are you getting with your D-13. I have a 95% sweet spot in the last 50k miles. It was higher until I had boost problems and replaced the air charger.

Is this going up a hill? And loaded or empty?

Usually on a pull, I don't think it would be necessary under normal conditions.
