Cops don't give CDL holders breaks!

I'm glad you made this post. Caused me to go back and look at the OP again. A written or verbal warning to a CDL holder in a POV is just that, a warning. No further actions required. I have had many verbal & written over the years. Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, SC, Georgia, Ohio, and of course Texas and many more states. Not a single one is anywhere near my DMV records and I never heard about any of them during orientation.

Prior to holding cdl I worked as a welder, got off work at 2:30 am and rolled open roads home on my z1000 bike. Cop pulled me over doing 90 on the on ramp. Bike wasn’t titled in my name yet with inspection out by 1 yr. Just told me to slow it down and get the paperwork fixed, knuckle bumped then went on my way. A week later, same cop pulls me over doing 90 on the same on ramp. Asked if I got the papers fixed, didn’t mention the speed. Verbal warning, told me next time he’ll have to impound. Knuckle bumped and went on my way.

attitude with non threatening body language goes a long way, also, didn’t go that route anymore haha
