Ok, parked fer the night. @Isafarmboy I built this engine back in 2015 out of frame, bare block rebuild. Bought an aftermarket head from a place out of Michigan ( for the life of me I can't remember the name ) think they call themselfs R+F PARTS. from day one the #### thing would load up with oil while idling. 8 months later I pulled the head and found junk valve guides. Had a local machine shop repair the guides and found out after reinstalling it he reused some of the valves. So I took a chance. ....got five yrs out of it and 513000 miles when it ate #3 exhaust valve. Could of just replaced the one hole and turbo and injector. But figured what the hell, ive been wanting to tryout these new IPD C-17 pistons. What better time then now ! Bought a custom head from HIGHWAY AND HEAVY PARTS in Colman Michigan. They have a good rep. ive put bout 1500 miles on her so far and its doing fantastic ! Time will tell. This is my toy, I like playin around with different combos. I'll never quit.

 

18-24in of the white stuff expected in my neck of the woods. Sitting under 2 loads but we rescheduled for Fri
