Bad quality bulbs. Pay a little more and get brand name bulbs. #3157A.

My 2000 Classic has an intermittent dim right turn signal indicator light on dash.Everything works as should otherwise. Just running down the road w/ headlights on, it appears and is dimly fading in an out somewhat. Unplugged trailer same problem.Trying to stay ahead of it. Last time on another Truck it was the 7 wire from fuse panel to rear pigtail receptacle. I’m thinking that or, turn signal( which I’ve redone a couple times due to right signal not working, weak spring inside).Or maybe a dash light problem. Hoping it’s not the 7 wire .

No, it quit doing it. Recently started to do it again. Then quit. My last Truck, one of the signals would stop working, can’t remember if it was left or right. Mechanic at Freightliner told me to unplug the indicator and plug it back in. Sure enough it worked. Said he doesn’t know why. I had to do it a few times. A common thing is right not working. I’ve taken the turn signal arms apart a few times on different Trucks over the years. Bend and stretch the 2 different little springs, tightens everything up, add some grease to everything. Usually it’s a only a problem with right position, since it’s in the up position and gets loose over time. When in left turn position, it doesn’t move around.
