I have same issue on my 2016 cascadia, intake manifold pressure too high, spn 3464 fmi 16
It says something about overboost detected during regeneration. I will change imap sensor and see if it’s that. I haven’t had any issues with loss of power or any turbo noises, everything seems fine.
*only thing that happened to me, was that it wanted to do a passive regen and it would not let regen start, I believe I heard turbo, but I did regen manually when it asked for it eventually.
after driving about 8 hours later i got the the code.

so I think my imap sensor is probably bad.

Will update and see if code comes up again

I had same coad have for over a year I changed the map sensor nothing ran through all diagnostic nothing took to freightliner they told me bad map sensor told them I replaced it a month still said it was bad changed it they did a forced regen told me they wee going to put it on a dyno charge me $600 to see if it came back. I told them no it's not causing me problems except the light. So I took the truck after I paid $1000 for them to do what I already did. Drove 50 miles it came back on. It comes and goes but its on most times drove 200,000 miles like that. Next sept called for replacing MCM $2000 to turn off a light any way I won't do anything unless it causes more problems.

    lesvraissavent and 77fib77 Thank this.

Thank you for the response brother! First Im glad your truck is good now!
Just to clarify you had intake manifold pressure high as well?

Im going to replace imap sensor to see if I get code back or not.
Yeah stealerships would probably automatically assume turbo is bad and bam replace.

I have no power issues at all only passive regen didn’t wanna start but I did manual regen when it asked and it worked as it should, truck is running fine just mil light turned on.

So I’ll keep running as well,
Truck has ran normal for you with code?
You think I can run with it?

I hear these imap sensors go bad every 100k miles or less! My truck is around the 500,000 so I figured these sensors will start to throw weird codes and it’s hard to find any info on this code! Seems like it’s not a common issue or something haha no YouTube vids at all talking about this code unfortunately guess it’s not a big issue code

Yeah I have that exact coad when it first started it would come on and off 2 or 3 tines a week. But most times it stays on took some getting use to hate when them lights come on. But I always check my coads incase a different coad pops up I don't want to assume it's the same light.
But I've had no power problems drove the rocky mountain pulls just normal.
My opinion check wires connection if nothing change sensor if it comes back the next step is open in harness or mom. I choose to wait for bigger problem.

    lesvraissavent Thanks this.

Yes they do go out maybe it'll fix yours didn't mine but if it doesn't you should be fine to keep trucking like I said mine has been on for 200,000 miles seems like the mechanics just wanted to throw money at it ai can do that without them lol

    lesvraissavent Thanks this.
