5 star resort in fultonville NY

Do you happen to know when the place was built, buzz1670? I'd guess late 60's or early 70's.

 

Down buy the motel is a concrete slab that says Cloverleaf motel 1956.I think the motel was after the truckstop.

 

Onvo is an Indian guy named sonny and his brother. They also have a brand called liberty in PA and NY state. They do a nice job , they completely remodel and usually put in a Burger King. Sonny is a Burger King franchisee.

 

Hopefully they knock that dump down and start with a new building

 

New building, New blacktop, new tanks, new canopy. There isn't anything that place doesn't need.

 

Sediment in old undeground fuel tanks may slow pumps or clog filters ? Makes ya wonder how much water may be seeping in too . maybe newish tanks for all i know .

 

I was here many times back in the 2000's and you are right, I do not recognize any of it. My thanks to the ONVO owners for such a beautiful remodel. I believe they also are the owners of the old Lounsberry Truck Stop in Nichols, NY on NY 17.
