I am looking to purchase a truck with the following Vin: 1XPADR9X3MD309231

Where can I go to specfications - Engine, Trans, Axle ratio, Axle ratings?

    Thank you.

The dealer. They have all the records you are looking for. They have what is called a build sheet which breaks down all the info.

All you need to give them is the last 6 digits.

Here is a website you can put in your VIN and get some info about it. It won't give everything your asking for but some other interesting info. Like the other guys said just call a dealer and give the last 6 of your VIN.

It has a series 60 engine shows 450hp but could have been uprated by now. Fuller RTO-14613 trans. Hendrickson RT400 suspension. Cant seem to find rear axle ratios. It just lists off the serial numbers and nothing else. Hope this helps!

I need a build sheet for an old peterbuilt 359 series from 1986, a 1987 377 series, And a 1990 378 series... desperately been trying to find the build sheets with no luck, dealers won’t give me up either... any ideas?!?!

The only way to get a "build sheet" is to order them. The build sheets are electronic, meaning we can't provide them to you. We look them up online, and printing them would be thousands of pages.

For older trucks, it's even harder.

If you want one, you need to ask the dealer to order you one. They're pretty expensive. They're also pretty difficult to understand if you don't know what you're doing.

I called Peterbilt in Denton TX told them what I wanted. Gave them the VIN They emailed me the build sheet and electrical schematics for free. Just need to call and ask. My Peterbilt dealer was as useful as teats on a boar hog.

    NightWind:
What year is your truck and do you remember the name of the person in Denton that you talked to about getting the build sheet?
