Ask 'em to put it in writing. If it's legit, they should have no problem doing it. If they say "can't do it", then run, don't walk, away.....
Dedicated run? Or bait and switch?

Actually JB has allot of regional dedicated now.
I mean ALLOT. They are swapping there core assets to dedicated and intermodal. They probibly have the largest Dedicated fleet in the country. Not counting LTL type companys.
So if it was them I would believe it. Not too many around your area that run like that. Arnold had some. JB has some. That is about it that I can think of, accept tankers.
Oh, I think that US has some as well. A friend of mine was on a dedicated with them.
Still is I am guessing. He was home allot and making about the money you said. -
Well it looks like the dedicated thing fell through. Bummer. Weird because we did not apply to Schneider but THEY called him so we were optimistic. Bill did tell the recruiter that if he got to Carlisle PA for orientation and the dedicated run "disappeared" and they expected him to go OTR then he was not going to stay. So then the recruiter said if we didn't get a phone call by 5pm yesterday then they weren't going to offer him the job and Surprise!! the phone never rang. I thank everyone for their advice and input, this time it just wasn't meant to be. Oh well..on to the next!!!

The internet must make life hard on driver recruiters.

Good for him. That was a smart move and it paid off.billsgirl Thanks this.

Schneider contacted me several years ago, when someone was opening a DC about a hundred miles away from me. They were looking for dedicated drivers to service this account.
Just a fishing expedition I figure.billsgirl Thanks this. -
So what if they did put it in writing? Doing so doesn't mean that they can't renege on their promise or give you any legal ground to take action. To the large companies putting something in writing is like asking them to pinkie swear. -

GOOD!!!!

That's true. But if they won't consider putting it in writing, then it's a good bet it never existed.
