keep your head up im sure you will get better with practice and experiance

 

any one know if swift has any automatics in the fleet, that alone would raise my comfort level.

 

i was told the other day by the term mngr that there are a few auto prostars in the fleet..he said there might be 6 or 8 in the whole fleet.

 

Shifting becomes easier with practice. You will get better. You will learn. Don't think about it just do it.

I am starting my final week with my mentor. The last five weeks seem like they have flown by. Can't wait to test out and get my own truck. It looks like I will be at the terminal on Nov 3rd. That is when the schedule gets me there.

 

i finish sometime around the 22nd.
do layovers increase the length of time. we sat for a day in texas and where sitting in mass now at a pilot until sunday or monday.

 

they have any nh dedicated runs

 

stuck here in Syracuse at the hotel, waiting on my trainer...ooppss mentor sorry. been here since thursday when orientation let out and rest of class went out on the road....

 

when are you meeting up with your mentor.

 

mentor just called, goin to hook up tomorrow at the terminal about noon headed for Rochester, then hes out of hours.about #### time i get out of this hotel, only so much tv to watch and nowhere to go .

 

mentor went home for the weekend back at the hotel. leaving sunday or monday. not coming back to syracuse until i get released.
