Demand extra money for driving there. Slower progress and higher risk of accidents, why not?
And if your company says no, tell them they can deliver that load themselves.
You decide where and when you drive, not them. You are the holder of the CDL, not them.
You, are taking the next 2 weeks off and enjoying the Holidays with friends and family!! Not just Christmas, but New Years as well!! Have some Christmas cookies and bubbly. It's been a hard year and you deserve it!!!

^^^^ Precisely. Sounds like some folks don't know these lanes. There is no money coming out of Hagerstown to Memphis. The money goes the other way.
81 is one of my favorite roads in the country. Not nearly as much construction these days. I'm up and down it every week, at 72 mph. Just plan around Roanoke, Knoxville and Nashville traffic around rush hours and you'll breeze right through. -
Your right about the rates. Man, just get me to Memphis then the shoe is on the other foot. Lolbryan21384, 86scotty and 650cat425 Thank this. -
