I’m home until Monday. Ryan cut me loose yesterday, something about a blizzard coming in.... It’s here. Winds cranking about 50-55mph right now.

@TB John Maybe your leasing company can start hauling beans I’m sure @Lonesome needs some... Lol.

 

I don't think I want to get into hauling agricultural products. Having world fame for being the best leasing company meets my ego's modest needs.

Speaking of beans, Ardis's idea of a joke is to start talking to someone, hold their attention, thenwithout a break in the conversation.

 

Well I WAS gonna lease a coe from you so I could haul some beans...

 

Unfortunately the only COE in my inventory ( JB Hunt's last, and a sought after piece of trucking history ) is leased to a gentleman farmer from Arkansas.I can put you down as 1st in line when it's returned.

 

Please do. I’ll only pay a few dollars a week though.

 

TB, what about the ol' Ford CL9000 behind the shop, that Ardis and Cletus were bunking in? It just needs .......everything.

 

I hope everyone is home for the holidays. I unloaded in KC Monday, and S and S took their sweet time sending my Nebraska over. So about 12pm Monday, go to Hastings by 1600. Keep in mind its 300 miles from KC to Hastings. I told them that I would be there and load Tuesday am.

I got to Hastings around 6pm, backed into the dock, got food, and spent the night at the dock. 7am I felt the shipper start loading, 715 he came out to the truck and BSed for a minute, then 50 yards to the other building to pick up a box. 8am I leave Hastings, and made it home today around 1330. I m off til Tuesday since New Flyer is closed, as well as its suppliers and other customers.

Ryan had me set up on a Becker, MN to Omaha then Hastings to Crookston. I’m glad he changed me over to the load I did. Otherwise I’d been stuck between Hastings and trying to get home here to Mapleton.

 

I just can't bring myself to kick them out after they've fixed it up so nicely inside. You're right it needs everything mechanically a lot like that Marmon COE I had my eye on
