knight is a joke, a bunch of game playing dispatchers that blackmail you into doing things their way.

the favorite thing they like to do is give you a 300 mile trip then half way through the trip ask you to drop the trailer and pick up another 300 mile trip.

another crappy one they play and have recently played on me was a load that picked up in the south-central part of this country. it was going to edmonton, ab. i'm 200 miles away from denver and i get a call telling me to drop it on the yard over there. why can't they have me drop it somewhere in montana? they had an eastern euro-PEON driver taking it for even cheaper than i. this isn't the first time they've played interference on me, either. however, i was looking forward to going to edmonton. it's been awhile since i've been there.

as for the empties, yes, that trick has tried to play out on me. whenever i'm in the so-cal area, upon emptying out, i always get a message telling me to spot it at a customer. fortunately for myself, i start out obnoxiously early. by the time i'm unloaded, my 14th hour is rolling around real quick. it angers them. i don't care. YOU NO TAKE EMPTY!

Have fun with your Kmart load out of Brighton, while all the Denver drivers suck up 1200 mile runs to Washington.

I agree with the "so called" super trucker! If you don't want to do the job as it is meant to be done...Go home! There are plenty of "real" drivers out here that'll get it done without going all weak in the knees about hangin' a little iron.

My life is more important than any load too...But I've been running with chains on in bad conditions for almost 37 years and have never even come close to having a problem.

Meaning what? That he's scared of a little work too? It does explain your attitude though...

Quite the amazing family there! They all know better than everyone else in the world about winter driving...Or maybe winter "not driving" 54 years of doing it wrong don't make it right regardless of what your daddy did or your grandaddy for that matter.

NAME ONE! No, Hold on...Name one that makes sense!

Weak! That's what I'd call it...

    Signature line explains everything:
Every Billy Big Rigger I have every ran into, talks like this. EVERY FREAK'N ONE OF THEM!!!

You go ahead and throw them chains for free there Big Bad Black W-900!!!:biggrin_2559:
I'll get off the road and outta your way BILLY!!! Cuz I know you gotta go!!! You've only mentioned it 6 or 8 times on that obnouxiously over-powered, over modulating echo box C.B. of yours.

Keep on trucking good buddy.......that is; untill it's time for you to go to the restaurant at the TA, and sit at the counter so you can tell your big rig trucker stories, and try to hit on the waitress that is nothing more than disgusted by you.
And QUIET DOWN a little bit super trucker.....the rest of us are trying to eat in peace, or have our own conversations-----and your voice carries as much as your body oder!!!

Which reminds me Mr. Big Rigger.......you just earned a free shower with that fuel fill-up you get every day......take advantage of it!! To the rest of us (whom have to smell your flatbed'n funk), if you've only time for one or the other (shower or restaraunt)....CHOOSE THE SHOWER! You can always grab a sandwich for the road if you feel like you REALLY need to get going again.

Yep.....you go ahead and throw them chains for FREE........I won't be in your way........roads all yours there smart guy.:biggrin_25518:
