With all those loads going from Commerce, TX to Nebraska you'd think it would be green.

Michigan to Minnesota then Minnesota to Arizona then back to Michigan. Over 4000 miles last week. Headed back to Minnesota now will the load of water. May be lucky enough to get a reset.

Deliver to Sams at 5 a.m. Sunday morning. I was able to PC to the truck stop and get my reset done. Got to load going to Miamisburg Ohio. This is an effort to get me home by Saturday so I'm sure I'll get something probably to South Carolina from there.

Been awhile since my last post.
Miles are decent not fantastic but decent. Currently on a run from Minnesota to Fort Payne Alabama. We have got 40 new freightliners over the last month. I am told one of them will be mine. So it looks like I'll be saying goodbye to the old Volvo. And I am glad. I was out of work two weeks last month because of coolant lines. I currently have the passenger side door closed with a bungee strap because it broke again.

If Freightliner could manage to muster a truck that rides at least as good as an upper-tier '80s/early '90s cabover, and could figure out something resembling actual storage, I might like them better. They don't call it the freight shaker for nothing.

I was telling someone in the office the other day that the problem with the Volvos here is probably more to do with US technician training than the trucks themselves. Doesn't seem to matter where you go, the dealers half-### ####. Volvo has the same engines, transmissions, etc. in Europe and they don't have the problems there that we have here.

Hey Smurf, I have seen some of the new trucks you're getting. They're right down the road from your corporates offices, at I-state in Blaine.

They do not put near the number of miles on a truck we do .

FB_IMG_1611785203517.jpg The new Freightliner is doing fine. Admittedly I don't care much for the cruise control and I miss my refrigerator. But take the good with the bad I guess. FB_IMG_1611785203517.jpg
