Using the TA/Petrol card of the company I am leased onto so they get all the perks/points and benes.
I have two trucks and am looking to get my own fuel card for my two trucks.
Any advice on what type of card to get?
- I may have to get a credit card but I would prefer to get a card the drivers can only use for fuel.
- is there a "fuel only" card I could use at different stations?
- if not, how do I insure the driver only uses the card for fuel?
- looking for a card with no fees

I agree with NASTC, $300 a year i believe it still is. Great savings. Not sure you will find a good one with no fees. Buddy of mine has a loves card, says he saves alot. I stay away from loves tho. To many crazy drivers.

I have an XPO card and it doesn't have the massive fees NASTC seems to be ####ing drivers with. I'm sure I'm getting ####ed in other ways though.
Edit: the biggrr discounts are TA/Petro and a flat .15 cents off all the Loves. -
Fleet One Edge...the uglier / or less prettier sister of NASTC is not bad either.
On 16 000 gallons YTD, my savings are $5 500. That's for $8 monthly account fee and almost no existent swipe fees ($1.5 if they happen). The nice thing is only $2 per cash advance...find an ATM that is better than that. Of course, had I not had the card, my selection of fuel places would have been different, e.g. I would rather not fuel at Sunoco on I 80 In/OH/PA
As someone said here a year back or so $5 500 buys you a nice suit - John Gotti style...LOL -
