When I have a 650 mile day I don't clean, but most of the time the next day I will have at least one live stop so that is when I clean. Every other week I usely do a 34 reset so I give it a super clean.
I have gotten compliments from mechanics and tow driver on how clean I keep the truck.scott180, God prefers Diesels and TheLoadOut Thank this. -
You act like soap and water hasn't been invented yet. Be honest and just say watching someone workout grossed you out because it reminded you you needed to shed 50-100lbs.danny23tx Thanks this.

LOL, and there it is - the stark reality of driving a truck.TheLoadOut and 650cat425 Thank this.

And what leads you to believe he might be overweight?

Not the best photo but not bad for a 30 year old cow truck -
You assume a great deal. I do more than either of the two I described every time I load or unload. Not enough soap and water to get me to lie on the pavement of a truck stop fuel island or rest area. Neither washed their hands before climbing back in the truck and guy in pictures wasn’t doing anything but some form of yoga or something.God prefers Diesels Thanks this.

Vacuum every week and shampoo 1X per month. As a former oil field truck, the only way to get this thing really clean is to tear out the carpet and start again, but I won't be around long enough to see that happen.
Had my first delivery to a coal mine last week after they saw two days of heavy rains. Never saw such a gawd awful mess. Nearly got stuck on the way in and barely made it out.
Anyway, as one who is fairly anal about vehicle cleanliness, my head nearly exploded in this place. Really nothing I could do except my best to keep as much of that coal dust mud out of the truck. Other than celebrating with family this holiday, the other thing that has kept me busy is trying to get the truck clean again.Last edited: Dec 26, 2020

I've noticed that some company mechanics do a better job on clean and maintained trucks. They know who abuses the equipment and who doesn't.God prefers Diesels, 650cat425, JoeTruck and 2 others Thank this.
