Leonard's Express gamble

That gets me to the long load that I'm on, headed back to Kent, WA.

 

Hustled out to Kent and tried to be a work-in Friday morning, per my dispatcher's suggestion. No go. Got to the TA in North Bend about 09:00 Friday morning and snagged one of the few remaining Free parking spots. Camped there until early Monday morning waiting for my delivery appt. The Burger/BBQ joint at the Gull gas station across from the TA was a much better option than the Popeyes at the TA. Not a bad place to camp if you can snag an allusive Free parking spot. Nice scenery.

In and out of my delivery Monday morning in about an hour and headed south about an hour to pickup in Chehalis, WA. About 4 hrs at the shipper picking up a load going to Cedar Falls, IA. Was able to get the delivery date moved up a day to make the load nice and tight. After delivery, dh up to Barron, WI and picked up a rare preloaded d&h with a nice and tight run down to Arcadia, FL. Emptied Early Sunday morning and headed home and put the truck in a local shop my boss uses. Looks like I'm going to be home a couple weeks for truck repairs. Fine by me.
