It's interesting seeing how many conclusions are jumped to here and accusations made without knowing all the facts. Heck, one guy even wants me killed.

I can see this from both ends. Sucks to be in the 2 truck situation and the bigger outfit should have discussed this in detail before ordering anything although he may have been burned before. Communication could have been better on the Leasing company side.

    Well...let's hope only metaphorically. Lol
However, your very mention of inability to pay your man DUE TO some repair escrow account or whathehellever gives someone the right to certain presumptions that may not be favorable to you as a businessman.
Your cashflow problems won't earn you any sympathy here. Most of us here assume cash flow problems to be the sign of bad business and most of us want bad businesses to fail so there is more room for the rest of us.
I don't wish you anything wrong...especially on the New Years eve. I hope you will overcome this and first and foremost will be able to pay your men.

Look, maybe you do plan on paying your driver and will figure it somehow and your post was really meant More about paying for parts you didn’t need or have on your truck. But, I think the point has been made that under no circumstances are you to not pay your driver. Do whatever it takes it to pay him.
Separate these two issues and I think you will be further ahead with this well experienced group.

    Well what did you expect?

you left out a lot of information, first is what repairs were done or need and cost?

second is what does your lease contract say about deductions and the repairs of your trucks?

third and most important is you ALWAYS PAY YOU DRIVER FIRST NO MATTER WHAT.

if you want advice, then pay for your own repairs, don’t depend on the company.

and another bit of advice is if the contract doesn’t provide a clause describing the repair loans, then find another company and sue for the money based on breach of contract, if it ain’t in the contract (or addendums) then it isn’t his call, it is yours,

I NEVER use the carrier to purchase parts or repairs. Most mark up the cost 20 to 50%, it’s cheaper to just put it on my Visa card even if I did take a full year to pay it off.

So how is this different from going to any parts house and ordering parts that must be paid for when ordered.
The answer is Credit either use it to pay for the parts or pay the driver. You are drawing fire from the inmates hear because if in the last 6 months you have not made enough money to have on hand capital you are never going to make it or you are new and just bought 2 trucks and spent all your capital getting started again your fault and this situation is unlikely to get better anytime soon.

Am I wrong whats the whole story ?

I'm still baffled you don't have the money on hand to pay repairs and pay your driver. You should have enough to rebuild both trucks , rates are good what have you been doing ? I would sale one truck let go both drivers and hop in the truck myself , obviously what ever business plan you have is not working.

Three days with one post from OP crying "poor me". I don't know where he claimed being "killed". My post was meant as, if you 'f me I am going to 'f you. Im not socially or politically correct. I'm from the old school, an eye for eye.
OP says "interesting seeing how many conclusions are jumped to here and accusations made without knowing all the facts. Heck, one guy even wants me killed". Well.... you opened the can of worms, what are "the facts"?
Beginning to get the opinion, I smell a troll? Or he is/was hoping for way out, not having to pay. He won't get it here. I am sorry for his driver. Look forward to @amrogers3 proving me wrong.
    Happy New Year, men :occasion5:
