Ask Bryan right behind asking you because I get my truck so frequently that I had to start checking the weather more often. I needed to see if I could keep it clean longer than 4 days

I'd go home more if we could get the miles and regular hometime. But as it is it takes 3 weeks to get 2 so so weeks an one good week. By so so i mean 4k or less. This week is only gonna be maybe 3500. Had a great start but sat all day yesterday an wasn't able to reload till today cuz of such a late delivery appt yesterday. If any of ya ever go to liberty dist. In chandler az , they are appt tight an will not take you early. They do have a 1st shift 7 to 2 tho if ya can get dispatch to try an make the appt earlier.

That is one thing I've always observed about these guys. They never seem too interested in trying to get appointments changed to an earlier time when they can see for a fact that you're gonna be way early. IMO why not be proactive an make a call to try an get ya in early so they can keep an asset moving an productive rather than sitting not making revenue. But if you're flirting with being late , boy they're johnny on the spot to try an fix that. Not that being late is a problem for us cuz it's not. Just the impression i get. Generally it seems as long as all their freight is covered then regardless of who got decent miles an who didn't doesn't seem to matter.

That is true. They'll watch your clock too, especially if you're close on your 70. That happened to me on a Greenville, SC to New Century, KS load. I would have made it in the window they gave me but they took it off of me as soon as I got to STL. I wasn't necessarily upset about that as I got 700 miles out of it still. I would picked up hours to finish it off. I had an appointment for 1830 in Bluffton the other day. I took a chance to get it off early but they weren't having it. Nature of the beast I guess. I think you're right, they are going to hurry and cover loads. Drivers being late seems to hurt the company terribly. They were fussing majorly about those macros with Hershey and Coke

Yea. Well like i said bein late isn't a problem for us. Just would like to be utilized more efficiently. The more miles we get as a team , not only are we making more money but the company makes more as well. They don't get paid when we sit an twiddle our thumbs.
