Much easier to back since it turns more quicker. Don't have to swing as wide for some turns. That's about the only thing I've noticed. However, that just means the places you go to will be that much more tight and small since you're in a daycab, so the benefits of being small is almost canceled out. There are places I go to where I have to use 100% of the space and it'd be impossible for a sleeper to get in with. There's a weird dock at this one place that requires me to be 100% jack knifed just so the dock plate can reach the trailer.

Someone mentioned using the daycab's back window to use for backing but I've never used it. I always only use my mirrors. Seems like that could turn into a bad habit

One tip...don't climb in the truck first thing in the morning and absent-mindedly throw your stainless steel thermos into the sleeper.

It's really hard on back windows.

Yup...I didn't even write it up, just went to the glass place and had another one put in. Kinda used up my lunch money for that week.

smaller area to cool down in the blazing hot sun, smaller place to warm up in the dead of winter.

should the a/c stop working, it is not as much an oven, with no sleeper.

depending on how tall you are, a board can be laid across the seats, for a makeshift nappy time.

I have a plywood box that I built to go between the seats, takes care of storage, I use a couple of short ratchet straps to hold it down. Secure your stuff if you get into a accident it all becomes projectiles. Reason for the box keeps everything secure, add a pillow and its a good place for a nap.

I love daycabs. I can count on 1 hand the number of trucks with a sleeper I've actually been in.
