New Year's Resolution

To move away from Texas. Nothing against the place, or it's fine people. But since I'm no longer tied to the oilfield, there's no point in paying 4% property taxes, where most of it goes to a school that barely even teaches its kids. I'm over it.

 

To retire from trucking in 2021.

Never gonna happen. As soon as the vaccine came out, we got a "mutant" version of the virus. States are never giving away this new power.

 

Their not teaching what needs taught at most any school. The other one that gets me is I pay taxes for schools that don't teach and I HAVE NO KIDS.

Colorado is the place you ought to be, so they loaded up the truck and moved to Coloradie. I see more Texas plates here than Colorado ones. The dope taxes ( almost $300 mil/yr) goes mostly for new schools ( that nobody goes to now) and new police cruisers. I was surprised to hear the governor was gay, coming from the midwest, seemed a bit odd, but seems to be doing a good job and all the pieces fit now.
