    spent 3k on brake related parts last week, just wanted to see options. Broke isn’t allowed in my family, neither is getting jipped by a mechanic

    Could even be some grooves worn into the spindle. That's one of the reasons I like the Stemco wheel seals since they've got that replaceable sleeve that goes onto the spindle.

    Just remember, sealant needs to be used on wear ring ID, and seal OD on a stemco grit guard. The blue is paint. The green on CR/Scott is sealant.

    $3k on brake parts?

    are they gold plated?

    did your “mechanic” torque the wheel bearing correctly?

    this can cause a seal to fail.

    and yes gold plated with a signature from God himself
