1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Don't know where you are - but try swift in syracuse, maybe. Good Luck. Maybe USA hires there also.

that's not much of an incentive to hire you - companies already do that with experienced drivers any way. it's unlikely an O/O would hire an inexperienced driver - their insurance wouldn't allow it - and you would still have to be approved by whichever company they lease to. someone here might be able to give you some advice or direction if you listed the reasons you're being turned down.

You might check with FFE if you're in the lower part of NY state. I know we have a terminal in Burlington, NJ.

    Blue,
If your in Freeville NY try G&L Trucking over in Locke, Mix Bros right there in Freeville off 13 headed toward Ithaca I heard they pay pretty good. Theres a bunch of trucks running in and out of that salt mine sit over on the hill get some names off the trucks and go from there. Their busy season is right around the corner! And first and formost don't let ANYONE treat you like ##### your a truck driver hold your head up high!!!!
Everything everyone touches was on a truck at least once!
