I was hoping you would chime in, knew there was someone on here not far from me.I live about 8 miles north of the spurs they put in here, but worked at the time about 30 miles north at an ag facility.
I grew up riding with my Grandad in the tractor pulling gravity wagons to that Farmers Elevator in Lowder when it was small. Between them & Johnson & all those guys chasing Dowson Farms, that world has definitely changed.

Havn't been on in a while been outrageous busy though if I wasnt in the truck I have been fixing farm equipment we made plenty of ruts last week in the fields but never got truck or combine stuck (knock on wood) and now we are as wet as we could be now so with the forecast I really don't see us getting in the field this week at all though we have thrown out the idea to try to run some tomorrow guess we will see I have a load on now to unload in the morning at PPI in deerfield mo otherwise I will probably spend the rest of the week hauling out of farmers bins with the slow harvest futures and basis have run up quite well and some are already unloading new crop out of the bin so I will probably have a full week anyway
give it a good shake guys hope to see ya on the road!!!!!!!! -
Glad to see someone is busy. Little slow here but should pick up. Two sunny days in a row..how shocking.

We cut til a little after 11 last night. Muddy to the extreme. I've only been stuck twice this year so far but the road shoulders and everything is really soft now. Some of the roads are falling through.

Its pretty darn wet here, I don't know if we'll get much done this week. Was talking to a farmer last night, said, "Well, at our current pace, we should be done, oh, about......March!" Hope the corn keeps standing well. -
Raining out now. Supposedly Monday and Tuesday are going to be sunny...rainy Wed & Thur. Last time I heard had little under 600 acres of beans to harvest. Thank goodness not much corn to harvest only 170 acres or so. The farmers are getting anxious about getting the grain out...not in the best of moods either.

We got around an inch here, it was wet before, its really wet now. Probably won't be doing much this week. It could be worse, heard there was a lot of beans in northern IL that got hammered by the frost/freeze. Heard there are simply no beans in the pods. Ouch. Got an email that was circulating around last week, pictures of somewhere in IA that got snow, combines and tractors sitting in the field with about 4 inches of snow on them.
Chance of rain Thursday and Friday. Joy.
Anybody wanna buy a hopper?

Know the feeling. Was sunny today...next chance of rain Thursday. Didn't rain a lot yesterday so maybe can cut the next three days. I think cutting around Thanksgiving is a given.
