1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I am looking for someone who will hire a driver without the varifiable exp. I decided to finally go get my CDL after yrs of working in the construction industry. I am 28 yrs old. and have learned how to drive from my pops when i was 11 yrs old. (He has been driving for 43 years now). I knew how to drive a truck before i could drive a car. I can drive any truck on the road, 2 stick included. I have only 2 tickets in the last 5 yrs. 1 speeding ticket and one misc violation. I have a good work record. And i do not have a criminal record at all. Its SQUEEKY CLEAN. Very personable and professional at what i do. I have decided to step back into the trucking industry because my flooring company has gone to crud with the economy here in SE ks. i live just north of Tulsa OK. I have driven several trucks throughout the years, i CAN however verify tht i can do the job and do it very well. If by chance i fit your criteria, or u are interested in what i can do for your company please contact me via private message or e-mail ( timmy_420_81@hotmail.com ) And i do not miss work and do not refuse loads to anywhere. I have missed 2 days of work in 9 yrs. I can, and will run my butt off for whoever. I dont care what i drive or what i pull.
    Thank You

I would imagine that just about any of the bigger carriers would be willing to hire you. Have you tried calling any of them? Some of them are very lenient when it comes to having very little to no experience upon hiring. Of course I'm referring to J.B., SWIFT, Werner and Schneider.

schneider has a hold on all students, they taking experienced drivers only. swift. well tried them. werner is ok but i hear alot, and i mean alot of bad stuff about them and i dunno if JB is offering the student training at the moment either. i will look into it. i have also put in with stevens, central and wil trans. so hopefully someone will take me on. i would rather find me a GOOD OLE BOY to drive for here close to the house. by that i mean one of the older guys tht still has small company doin the harvest, pullin grain, cattle, hay etc.... would be nice but i dunno if any of them are around anymore
