I have a 2007 International 4200 with a VT365 engine.
Recently while driving the check AC light came on and I no longer had working cold AC. I read the codes from the dash and it flashed two fault codes.

I believe the first one is active and for low refrigerant?
When the engine is running with the AC on max the compressor clutch is not kicking on. If I do a jumper wire and hook the compressor to 12V the clutch will engage. I have already put one can of R134a into the system and am having the same problem. Should I add another can? How much does the system hold?
Any other suggestions/ideas? Is this the correct approach?

AC on those is computer controlled. I would get the codes read by a proper scanner and troubleshoot from there.
Farmtractor9900 Thanks this. -

Never heard of that. We use Nexiq USBLINK-2 on our laptops running Diamond logic builder software.
