There should be plenty of local opportunities in your area. If not there are definitely towns in your region with local gigs. Find the right regional gig an you could be home every weekend an once or twice thru the week. We all need to stay in touch on here if an when we get different jobs.

bryan21384 and Lumper Humper Thank this.

There’s a few local jobs in my area, but I feel like trying to live in Seattle area. I’ll stay in touch in here.

That's good news! That's a hell of a bombshell, but a good bombshell, I'm super happy for you! You starting McLane on Monday?

Haha thx bro, I was doing local for 10 years then I came here. Seems to me the only way to make money is to stay out for a few weeks but it’s the nature of the game I guess. I wish nothing but the best to you too.

Thx bro, I will be starting next Tuesday running till Saturday night off Sunday and Monday. I’ll be home 3 times a week. I was able to keep my seniority but I have to run there extra board till the end of the month until they bid again. But I’ll keep an eye out for y’all on I-70 going East.

You sure nailed it man. It's the way OTR goes. I do really long stretches in between home times, at least a month at a time. You know, its the way America is though, if you want to see a decent check, it's going to come at some sort of cost, quite frankly. Its unfortunate though. That's with any industry.
