I went through the wrong enterance and had to navigate around 2 curbs, I curbed it on both but going slow. My company will fire me over that. I did it right in front of their security guard but I'm not sure if he saw it. Should I just wait and see if the grocery store reports it or should I just go ahead and get myself fired by reporting it? It was either I back up blindside onto the main street or I keep going. I chose to keep going. Yes, the company will chock it down as a preventable. I found that out when I had a nonpreventable accident but the company still called it preventable.
Curbed it at grocery store

Is this what we've become.
Scared off getting fired for running over a curb.
Companies firing drivers for running over curbs.
If that's the case, then everyone of us should
Be fired.
Never tell the company anything unless you
Been in a accident.mwhjr1988, mitrucker, WannaGoTrucks2016 and 31 others Thank this. -

We all run over curbs. Occasionally.mitrucker, WannaGoTrucks2016, Matt1924 and 15 others Thank this. -
I know, it's nuts, my union company would call that a "preventable" if it blew the tire and like 3 "preventables", there was some action, I don't think it was a fireable offense, but the driver here is in a bit of a spot, either they say nothing and maybe get away with it, or someone caught it on a GD camera, and they would be in worse hot water. I'm not sure what the hub bub is, unless they blew out the tires, or some kind of damage, what's the big deal, I hopped curbs all the time.slow.rider, bentstrider83, bzinger and 3 others Thank this.

Did the security gaurd even care? He probably sees that all the time if they have a stupid layout like that.
If the curbs are blackened from tire rubs already then you are not the first or last one to hit them.DoubleO7, slow.rider, alds and 14 others Thank this. -
Did you blow a tire?
Don’t worry about it.DoubleO7, Matt1924, slow.rider and 6 others Thank this. -
They weren't blackened so I doubt they've been hit before but he didn't say anything to me but he did keep looking at me when he repositioned so he was by the dock so I think he knew. Maybe I'm being paranoid. I don't think it's a big deal but the company blows everything out of proportion.slow.rider Thanks this.

I'm mostly afraid of them reporting it to my dac why I was fired. My company says they don't report accidents to them but I wouldn't put it past these guys to put it on there as soon as I leave or get fired.slow.rider and Western flyer Thank this.
