2995dxcf not working on ssb

    I have a 2995dxcf signal metre not working on SSD and also lower receive on SSB coming out of speaker have to turn up volume amfm Extremely Loud output on speaker as metre is working can anybody help please

    Ranger RCI-2995DX

    Looks like this radio has surface mount components, which a lot of people don't have the skills or equipment to properly work on them. To try and answer your question, it sounds to me like a cold solder joint. Ranger as well as Cobra radios have this problem. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
