In order to play a victim you need to lose a fight, put your tail between the legs and expect sympathy from the winners.
I am not playing the victim here but fight those who spit out the hate. You've been here for too short to aquire any level of sensitivity but this stuff is permeating more than enough for me to keep quiet so sometimes as soon as I see premeditated references to Eastern Euro I'll take it personally. I can agree with a White Volvo crowd problem and overall meaning of it but associating it with Eastern Europe alone is too much for me to keep quiet.
"they" are those who are firm believers in white volvos category and relentlessly find pleasure in threads like these. Plenty enough for me and him to know who "they" are.

 

I reread the thread again and must admit that it is not so bad. As a matter of fact, few of the posts were hateful, if any hateful at all and perhaps I should have not raised my voice like that. I blame it on so many others I've seen here before. I'll respectfully withdraw myself from any any further skirmish in this thread. And indeed I regret having said anything here because it shows a sign of weakness. A strong man should be beyond all that and not to concern himself of what a few might say.
This TR platform is the only one I participate actively and maybe I went too deep into this virtual world and became my own enemy.
Like I said, there were a few situations in my real life when I was attacked verbally about my origins but for the most part people are nice, respectful and fair. This internet virtual world platforms can dangerously distort a man sense of reality. After all, how come I never heard a sound of "White Volvo" in real.

I think the main reason you get so upset is that you automatically associate "white Volvo crowd" and Eastern Europeans as one thing.
It's not.
Nowadays a lot of people are hating China. It does not mean that people don't like actual Chinese people, they just hate shady business practices.

 

Yeah, I'm sure there's something deeper going on I don't know about. Just remember what @MACK E-6 said - you're as American as the rest of us.

 

I remember back in the day one could dislike something and get away with it. Now the spinmasters in the media and on the left have convinced many that if others dislike one thing or another that is hate. Or they add _phobic to things that are commonly disliked. Stamp out dislike. Stamp out opinions. Stamp out __phobic. Stamp out hate.

I pine for the days prior to the invasion of the cultural marxists. They have poisoned the vernacular to such a degree every snowflake is on high alert for any potential slight so they can then accost the "aggressor" with their own passive aggression and claim victimhood.

The white volvo crowd sucks and is a bane to the industry. And by white volvo crowd I refer to the eastern europeans that run non-descript, dirty white volvos for fly by night companies, often hailing from Chicago or Detroit who pay their chosen immigrants via 1099.

 

Maybe "to hate" has soften and transitioned into "to dislike"...you know...etymologically. Back in a day, the hate meant Kristallnacht in Germany, Jews murdered in Aushwitz or Ormians marched to death by Ottoman Turks, or even Hollywood communists stripped down from their civil rights in late 40s. Nobody in their right mind thinks that hate is that hate any more or so I hope.

A snowflake is on a high alert...is what makes this country great. You dislike me and I'll be on a high alert, watching out for you. Action - Reaction. Not as much victimhood as being on the defense. I forever refuse to be a victim of any kind.


Your definition of a white volvo crowd completely defines the formula I've seen here numerous times and what I was talking about earlier.
White Volvo Crowd =
Undescriptive, dirty white volvo trucks + Immigrants + paid 1099 + Chicago + Eastern Europeans.

But where is the quintessence, something like ...who are disrespectful, dangerous to the public safety, providing poor service, cheating the State Treasury, etc.? Because that is the bone of disagreement here. Because, if there is no more meaning to it, I don't know why I huff and puff here so much.

Besides, do you even know where the Eastern Europe is... where it geographically starts and where it ends?
I really doubt it because had you known, you would have not selected Eastern Europeans here alone.

Finally, the last people actually felling victimized and caring about the lack of sympathy from the likes of you, are the White Volvo themselves. You'd be quite surprised how little they care about the opinion of man who pines for the days...
