Freighliner cascadia day cab. 2019 model year.
    $3800.00.

The transmission was out of a 2018 Pete 579 day cab. It’s a 16909c ( convertible 9 speed) less than 300k miles, $3400. No core charge. I still have my 3 year old Eaton reman 10 speed to keep or sell.

Got a free 36” driveshaft that matches mine perfectly including a hanger. Literally looks brand new. They just threw that in for free. 1FEA155E-B4E5-4D8B-9935-6B27FAE960AA.jpeg C50CF74B-D4AE-4A5B-B8C3-3960237D7F86.jpeg BAD7FDF5-CB8F-45E7-91C3-D57971842199.jpeg

Had to order a new output yolk. Won’t be here till next Wednesday. C28C9E10-7110-4F8A-9C1F-212E0DF229EA.jpeg One of the air tank brackets came out in pieces. Got some new metal to repair it tomorrow before moving the truck outside and bringing in the cutoff.

    You have a preference?

I’m thinking a short bolt in sleeve on the inside and a stack bracket on the outside spanning the splice.

    I’m open to all suggestions.
Seen one sleeve job that was all cracked to hel. Seen a weld in diamond shape plate that was almost 10 years old and looks perfect.

Not planing on running heavy. Just general freight.

With all that extra frame, gotta go past 275, or 285 to be “custom”. Not much extra weight, and with the new king pin set up, would look nice. I know practicality is #1. But why not? Go for it. Have extra room for a storage box behind cab. Plenty of room to still pull any trailer. Come on man, go 290”. Lol

I’m serious, I can tell you’re going to probably keep this Truck forever. I went from a 265” wb Classic to a 285”. 70” bunk to 84” bunk. At first, I thought I’d made a mistake. Especially since I’d put low rider seats in it. I couldn’t see anything, the whole Truck seemed Bigger, not just longer. I raised the seats up 2.5”, and got used to it. Not much difference really. Little bit larger right side blind spot.
