I also fuel at the Murpy's at Walmart, and yes the savings are real, sometimes 50.00 to 75.00 per fillup. As long as the receipt has gallons purchased and price per gallon, it can be used for Ifta filing. Thats it, no more no less. Oh yeah... Red diesel is off road diesel and can not be ran in commercial road vehicles. I know some dump trucks that do but if the DOT ever catches them, stiff fines and possible criminal charges await, not good. Sometimes the scale houses will check every truck that crosses the scales for red diesel. Hope this helps.

 

Stiffer penalties for avoiding the racket money (taxes) than if you just went out and killed someone. Sad state of affairs, and it sucks that so many resources have to be wasted just to keep track of it all.
