I drive line haul across Iowa. Our company didn't shut down. I was the only one who called in saying it was unsafe. Two guys went out and turned back after 30 miles. Everyone else made it to Des Moines and stopped there. I'm treated, by some, like I'm less of a driver because I "wimped out."
I just shake my head, glad everyone's OK.

If your company thinks you’re a wimp for not driving when you felt like conditions were unsafe it’s just time to find another company. Plain and simple.

 

So you know Iron City Beer then? My gunny was from Pittsburgh, and I used to pick some up for him when I went home on leave.

 

I feel like I'm slumming right now. There was a GO tlr in our yard earlier and now we have a Morehouse tlr here. Lol

Actually, the boss is renting out part of the yard to the outfit that shags for JBS. They keep tlrs here that are being loaded. Wonder how much he is charging?
A couple of months back, this outfit bought one of our trucks, and not by choice. Seems that one of their drivers cut a corner to close, and the tlr he was hauling went over the truck. Truck was totaled. Wonder about the tlr?

Yes I do. My gramps used to drink it, of course I had to have a "swig" or two. I remember he used to drink Pabts blue ribbon also. Haven't thought about either one of those beers in a long time. LOL.

 

Both her and her husband have recovered. He has to go back in and get tested, to get cleared for work.

Yesterday was momentous the wide whitewalls showed up now if I can get Brad to stop by Lincoln and encourage the fine people at speedway motors to hurry up with the spindles I ordered.
