Pardon me while I state the obvious... You can use your laptop for that :laughing6:

Anyway, sirius has comedy (4 channels) and CourtTV (better than CSPAN IMHO) they also have BBC, and all the rest. Oh, and it's cheaper. lol

I know you'll stick with what you have, but I can't let ppl think that XM has something on us.

XM will have something on you when your sirius unit is just a overpriced paperweight.

Oh man, c'mon now. That's a lil harsh. XM's lost all it's sports now, except baseball. I'm not trying to start a satellite radio war here, but I think Sirius will outlast XM....at least for this lonely ol' truck driver. KLLM's puttin' XM in all their new trucks, and CFI has done the same, but I still think Sirius is a lot better.

Roommate got Sirius because they have Basketball -- got to keep up with our Pistons. He loves to listen to the Gospel music in the morning -- really wakes him up and nothing passes the time driving like Redneck Comedy or Raw Dog Comedy. It's great to go down the road laughing -- especially the way some of those idiot 4-wheelers drive. Really takes the edge off the road. He's never listened to Stern -- we got Sirius in spite of him being on there -- not because of it. I guess we prefer Sirius, but those who prefer XM have their own reasons -- different strokes for different folks. Eventually, I am betting that they will merge. From what I hear, neither one is making a ton of money, and someday they will realize that they can make the bottom line look better if they don't have to compete for talent or listeners. I think that would be the best deal out there -- maybe they'll call it Xirius or Sirium or something like that. All I know is that Satellite radio is awesome -- and to think we balked at spending money for 'radio'.

I don't have time to listen to sports. And listening to Nascar? lol... "#43 is going fast and turning left... still turning left. 3 wide in turn 4... caution.". XM has the same number of comedy channels by the way. I too believe XM and Sirius will merge soon. Only reason I would get rid of XM now is the cost per month. They charged me $14.84 last month. That's too much.

I've had XM for 3 years. Pay only $8.42/month (got in on 5 yr plan right b4 they raised from $9.99 to $12.99). I like the audio quality (CD) versus Sirius (FM). BTW, that has been proven true through lab tests. Sirius was company provided and I pay for XM. After listening to Sirius for a while, decided I was too use to XM and Sirius only came on 5% of time.

I don't think the FTC will allow a merger of the 2, would form a monopoly.

I only listen to music and the news with XM. The rest I can do without.

I have XM and am going to MISS Nascar. BUT i dont think that Sirrus can afford Howard and Nascar to. I tryed Sirrus one day driveing my buddys truck and didnt like it. But that was for only ONE day.
Guess i will have to stick with XM for a bit longer, Hopefully they will join forces
